Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of the terms

The service is reserved for people aged at least 18. By using Freshrecap, you expressly accept these terms of use. If you do not accept these terms, please do not use the service.

2. Description of the service

Freshrecap is available on the Web and as extensions; an Android app is planned. It generates content flagged as AI-generated. The service is provided "as is" without warranty of fitness for a particular purpose.

3. Rules of use

You agree to:

• Not use the service for illegal purposes
• Not attempt to circumvent the service limits
• Not share your login credentials
• Not reverse-engineer the service
• Respect the copyright of source content

4. Service limits

AI-generated summaries may contain inaccuracies. Freshrecap is not responsible for the use made of the summaries. The service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance.

YouTube sources

Preparing a YouTube URL only retrieves existing subtitles and the necessary metadata. It does not download the video or its audio track. You must comply with YouTube's terms, copyright, and hold a right or legal exception permitting your use of the content.

5. Subscription policy

Subscriptions are billed monthly. You can cancel at any time. Upon cancellation, access continues until the end of the current period. Refunds are possible within the first 14 days.

Optional dataset contribution

Contributing future generated summaries and MP3s to the private dataset relies on an explicit, optional and revocable agreement, distinct from normal service use. A change of purpose, data category or partner invalidates the old agreement and requires a new decision.

6. Liability

Freshrecap cannot be held liable for indirect damages, data loss, or service interruptions. Our liability is limited to the amount paid over the last 12 months.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account in case of violation of these terms. You can delete your account at any time from your dashboard.
