Privacy Policy

1. Data collected

We only collect the data necessary for the service to work:

• Email - for your account and communication
• Password - hashed, never in plain text
• Generated summaries - stored in your account
• Subscription data - managed by Stripe

We do not store the source content (podcasts, videos, web pages).

2. Use of data

Your data is used to:

• Provide the service and perform the contract
• Manage your account and subscription
• Comply with our legal and accounting obligations
• Ensure security based on our legitimate interest
• Improve models only with your separate, optional consent

3. Data retention

Your data is kept as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, active data is deleted within 24 hours and backups are purged within 30 days, except where legally required. Technical logs are kept for up to 12 months.

4. Account deletion

You can delete your account at any time from the My account page. This also removes eligibility for the dataset and expires the related exports.

Optional contribution to AI improvement

You can authorize the use of your future summaries and MP3s (anonymized and validated) to improve AI models for everyone's benefit. This option is off by default.

A conservative multilingual filter and human review are required before eligibility; no absolute anonymization is promised. You can withdraw your consent at any time. No transfer is allowed to a partner that is not named and activated.

Transfers, recipients and rights

The selected LLM/TTS providers, Neon, Backblaze B2, Stripe and, after explicit action, Supadata for a public YouTube URL may process the categories strictly necessary for their service. Transfer details and guarantees appear in the sub-processors list.

You may request access, export, rectification, deletion, objection or withdrawal from your account or from the privacy contact. You may also contact the competent supervisory authority, notably the CNIL in France.

5. Security

We use technical and organizational measures to protect your data: encryption in transit (HTTPS), password hashing, and restricted access.
